The Morton Arboretum was formally established on December 14, 1922 by Mr. Joy Morton (1855-1934), owner of the Morton Salt Company. Its mission is to collect and study trees, shrubs, and other plants from around the world, to display them across naturally beautiful landscapes for people to study and enjoy, and to learn how to grow them in ways that enhance our environment. Our goal is to encourage the planting and conservation of trees and other plants for a greener, healthier, and more beautiful world.

O'Hare & Midway Airports
Airport Information
O'Hare may be the most convenient airport to Naperville. It is also the largest (and busiest!). Midway airport is definitely another option as both are accessible by major highways.
Directions from O'Hare: Merge onto I-190 East. Then merge onto I-294 South via exit 1D towards Indiana (toll). Merge onto I-88 West towards Aurora (toll). Take Route 53-South. Turn right on Warrenville Road. Turn left at Corporate West Drive.
Directions from Midway: Turn right on South Cicero Avenue/IL 50. Merge onto I-55 South via the ramp on the left. Take IL-83 N/Kingery Hwy via exit 274. Turn left on 75th Street--stay straight. Take I-355 North to Western Suburbs (toll). Merge onto I-88 West towards Aurora (toll). Take IL-53 South/Lincoln Avenue. Turn right onto Warrenville Road. Turn left on Corporate West Drive.
